Picnic Rental Policy
Reservations
For online orders, please place your order through our website with a minimum of 48 hours advance notice. You'll select a 30-minute pickup window at checkout.
For shorter-notice requests, call us at 973-327-9971 — we can often accommodate quicker turnarounds over the phone, depending on availability.
Pickup & Return
- Pickup: at the shop during your selected window
- Return: by close of business the following day we're open — 4pm Saturday and Sunday, 6pm Tuesday through Friday
- Payment for the picnic and the $100 refundable deposit are due at pickup
Deposit
Your $100 deposit is refunded in full when the basket, plates, and cutlery are returned intact. Deposit is partially or fully forfeited if:
- Return is after close of business on the next open day: 50% of deposit withheld
- Items are missing or damaged: charged at replacement cost, up to the full deposit
- Basket is not returned within 5 days of your pickup date: full deposit forfeited and basket considered sold
Before you return:
- Discard food waste and used napkins
- Return basket, plates, and cutlery
- No need to wash anything — we handle all cleaning in-house
